The town has a wide choice of sporting activities riding, walking, subaqua diving, tennis, squash. There are 10 golf courses in the area. A good way to get your bearings is to take a ride on the little train. It takes you round the town centre it runs every 40 mins. The town centre has been altered to make more pedestrian areas. There is a covered market at Les Halles open in the mornings we liked the local Basque ham. The town has all the usual shops, cafes, and restaurants.
