Saint Guenole is a small town and fishing port on the Finistere coast. We visited the town at dinner time so most of the shops were closed.There is a large fish market in the centre of town with fish straight from the harbour.We drove round to the sea front to watch the waves hitting the rocks.It was a calm day and the sea was coming over the rocks what it is like on a windy day is hard to imagine. There are warning signs to keep off the rocks. There is a strong under currant just off the shore.We had our usual picnic of French bread with a mixture of cheese and sliced meat plus coffee.
