Le-Touquet seaside town Pas de CalaisPlaces to visit in Le-TouquetLe Touquet is on the north coast of France. The area is known as the opal coast. After local artists who painted using the colours of the opal stone. Driving into the town you pass through wooded areas with golf and other sporting activities. Upmarket houses weekend retreats and a casino. The parking in the town is good you only pay at the weekend.
Le Touquet street  Le Touquet traffic free shopping streets the photos were taken midweek at the French lunch time when everybody vanishes for 2 hours. It is normally very busy.

 The town has one of the best beaches in France long flat and clean. It as all the usual beach activities sand yachting kites etc.Aqualud a water land adventure park is a fun day out for all the family on Boulevard de la Mer. Rue St Jean and the streets running off are the main shopping area. We have stayed in the Le Touquet area several times we like the town and the beach. We usually stay a few miles out from the town. The nearby village of Brexent Enocq makes a good base to tour the coast. There are so meny towns like Le Touquet to see
