Ambleteuse museum 39-45 can be found on the main coast road.

If you drive through the village of Ambleteuse heading towards Wiisant you will see the museum on the right.

You can not miss it there is a Sherman tank outside.

The museum tells the story of the second world war.

There are displays showing the various campaigns of WWll.

You can see weapons, uniforms from all the armies.

There are a few of the vehicles of the type used in the war.

Plus radios and parachutes and a 40s style cinema.

You could watch a video form the battle of Britain to the liberation.




Inside the Museum





The museum is an interesting place to visit and good value at 6€ for adults October 2006 price.

You can park in the museum car park for free.
