Apple and almond tart recipe
Preheat the oven to 200c or 400f gas 6. Roll out the pastry and line a loose bottom flan tin 7 inch / 18cm. Mix the chopped apples and the sugar together add a little more if the apples are very sharp. Place them in the pastry case and sprinkle the top with the almonds, then the melted butter. Cook for 30 to 35 mins and serve warm with cream.
