Ardres Christmas MarketThe Ardres Christmas Marketis held on Sunday the 14th of December this is the date for 2008. We have just visited the market you follow the signs for the town centre.

The first stall we came to was the mulled wine and hot chestnuts
you can see in the photo. The hot wine was a euro for a large glass
and on a cold day was very welcome.We also had a bag of chestnuts for 2 euros
which kept your hands warm all round the market

The market had a good range of handmade gifts and craft items
food and jewellery.We bought a couple of gifts for 15 euros and were
amazed at the trouble the stall holder went to gift wrap them.We will
certainly go back next Xmas
