Blangy le Chateau is a small village in Normandy. The village is located about 2 miles from where
we stayed at Le Brevedent The largest town is Lisieux about 7 miles away
where you have all the large supermarkets.
Blangy le chateau
The village has a small square with a fountain there are 4 roads feeding off it There are 4 or 5 shops and a bar a good tourist information centre and a restaurant. The most important shop for us was the bakery which we visited first thing every morning.
Just outside the village there is a nice little caravan site.There are 50 permanent caravans and a area for touring vans and tents.The site also has a good restaurant which we tried and enjoyed. Local Bed and Breakfast in the village and surrounding area Blangy le Chateau has a small market on Thursday morning in front of the tourist office. About 4 stalls flowers and plants fruit and veg plus a fish stall. You can see the flower stall in the photo below For a day out try the local zoo The local market
