Places to visit in Boulogne sur MerBoulogne-sur-mer is about 10 miles from
where we were staying in the village of Inxent. We needed
somewhere to go as it was starting to rain and a Sunday.
Most of the shops shut in France unlike the UK.
So we decided to visit the sealife centre it as been a couple of years since our last visit. I know Boulogne sur Mer well so did not check the location of the sealife centre as I have seen plenty of signs to it. We soon saw a sign to the centre but this time there was a couple of signs missing. After 2 trips around the centre of Boulogne I saw a street map on a bus stop that showed the location. It is Just next to the ferry port you can park right in front of the building. One of the many cafe bars in the harbour area

If you visit Boulogne in the week you will find a very good shopping area. Also lots of restaurants and bars at reasonable prices. For a reasonably priced restaurant try the Le Doyen Address 11 rue Doyen, Boulogne-sur-Mer 62200,
Le Doyen Inside the sealife centre we found it an interesting place to spend a couple of hours. Of the two centres we have visited I think I just preferred the one in La Rochelle There seemed to be more fish to see
Visit the market on Wednesday and Saturday morning
Try a camping holiday in France there are campsites all over France.
