The vast car park at Cite europe
Most day trippers head out of Calais on the ring road which leads to the vast shopping mall complex at Cite Europe. The centre shops opens at 10am but you want get there at 9am. The car park although large fills very quickly,you can get a very good continental breakfast 5e inside while you wait for the shops to open. The shops offer a wide selection of products but there prices are geared to the tourist market better prices can be had on the outskirts of town. A wharehouse city of discount booze outlets have set up on the western side of Calais.We found fuel on cite europe car park to be cheaper at 83p a liter for diesel and petrol. People miss out on the towns many interesting
