The Lighthouse There are several cliff walks you can take or you can just watch the ferries going to England. The second photo shows the view across the bay to the other Cap Blanc-Nez and the village of Wissant.
Great view One of the many bunkers  The cliffs still have a lot of WW11 bunkers you can see one in the third photo. About a mile up the road you can visit the museum of the Atlantic Wall. This is a massive blockhouse containing weapons, uniforms and equipment form the second world war. You can also see the railway gun that could fire across to Dover. UpdateWe visit Cap Gris Nez once or twice a year when we are in the area. We like to stop there for a picnic and watch the ships in the Channel. A lot of work as gone into the area over the last 2 years. Improvements to the car park and the cliff top walkways.New viewing platform on the edge of the cliffs have been built a lot of conservation work as been done.Cap Gris Nes  The road up to the Cap  We have stayed at several Gites along this coast and have found plenty of interesting places to visit This cottage is a few miles from Ambleteuse in the village of Les Coquelicots not far from Calais
