We visited the zoo on a Sunday in June 2009.We picked Sunday because most of France is shut on a Sunday unlike the UK.We arrived at 9 30 am just as the zoo opened there was already 10 cars waiting to pay.

It cost 15 euros for adults to get in when we visited.There is a large car park which they need this is one of the busiest zoo I have been to.There are plenty of picnic areas I would advise you to bring your own food and drink.The zoo`s eating places were very good but very expensive as we found out.A lot of the zoo is in woodland so there was plenty of shade. Which was needed it was a hot day when we were there.You need to be fit to walk round this large zoo.It is on two levels and is fair climb in places.The zoo has a road train that visits about half the park. This is included in the price and is a good way to see the animals from a another angle.
