Champrepus Zoo Manche Normandy is in a small village on the main road between Granville and Villedieu les Poeles. We were staying nearby about 2 miles away. Early in the year we had visited the Cerza Zoo near Lisieux about 50 miles away. The Cerza Zoo is about twice the size of Champrepus and takes a full day to get round.

Champrepus Zoo is split by a main road in one half are the larger animals. Across the bridge is a area for children to stroke the animals.The animal enclosures are set in attractive gardens.We liked the Lemurs where you could walk round their reserve.It took us about 2 hours to walk round and see everything.The Zoo has a gift shop and a eat in or take away restaurant and good picnic areas. There is plenty of room in the free car park.We enjoyed our afternoon visit and would recommend the Zoo to anybody who likes animals and gardens.
