Concarneau market Brittany photos and travel guide to our visit to this large beach resort. The holiday resort is about 15 mins drive from where we were staying in the village of Saint Yvi in the old Mill house Playa de la Croix beach Concarneau
Concarneau market is on a Friday morning it is held on the car park in front of the indoor market.We arrived At 9.30am and it was already busy there is a large free car park 100 yards down the sea front.That was full so come early the market is more or less at the end of the sea front. So if you drive round the headland you can park on the Quai de la Croix overlooking a nice little beach and harbour wall. It is then only a short walk down Rue Tourville a street to the back of the market. The market sell a wide range of goods fresh vegetables, meat, clothes and wine.We bought a large bag of fresh Walnuts and a bbq chicken with roast potatoes and onions cooked in the juices. They also did a nice piece of roast ham maybe next time.
