Cormeilles is a small town in Normandy. The town is about 5 miles from where
we stayed at Le Brevedent The town is a typical Normandy town
with the old buildings narrow streets and a weekly market

The town has a square and there is a main road with most of the shops on it. There are a few small streets that feed off the main road. You can park on the main street or use one of the two car parks.
The photo shows a local Calvados shop This area is in the centre of the Calvados producing region. There is a local distillers just off the main road. Which you can visit and see how they make the Calvados brandy. Cormeilles has 13 interesting Antique shops several restaurants we had a nice meal in one of them. Friday morning is market day about 20 stalls. In July and August there is also a weekly Sunday morning market with entertainment. For a day out try the local zoo A local Antique shop

Situated at the edge of a peaceful hamlet, and close to the coastal town of Honfleur, this pretty half-colombage detached holiday home has been beautifully restored by its owners. The large garden offers plenty of shade from mature trees and you can see the tip of the Pont de Normandie beyond the church spire.
