This was our second trip to the park. We had come to see the Walt Disney Studios side of the park. Which was not built on our last visit.

The park is about 20 miles from the centre of paris.There are several package trips you can book

Or you can fly into Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports and take the RER Line A – Marne-la-Vallee/Chessy Station. The VEA shuttle service also offers direct rides to the Disneyland hotels every half hour.

We came by car so we could stay just outside the park.It gives you more options. We like to take advantage of the excellent range of fresh food avaliable in the local supermarkets.

When you have had a busy day going round Disneyland. It nice to sit in your own garden in your rented Gite. With a glass of wine and a home cooked B/B/Q and salad. The gite in the photo is a short distance from Disneyland Paris.

In the village of Seine-et-Marne

In a small village, only 2km from Eurodisney, this fully renovated detached stone house is set in a quiet location near to the centre of the village.

Catch the bus directly to Eurodisney for a superb family day out, or alternatively take the train to Paris and visit the Eiffel Tower and the amazing Notre Dame Cathedral, along with the many restaurants, shops and cafés to enjoy. Disneyland paris is always busy so it is worth buying you tickets in advance

We got into the park at 9am and stayed till 4pm. We managed to get 7 rides during this time on the main rides. using the fast track system but it dose mean alot of walking. Our party was of mixed ages and it is very tiring for young children.

We visit Paris every couple of years and stay in a hotel as near to the centre as we can afford.So this year we decided to have a change and stay in an apartment.The cost is about the same there is no cheap accommodation in Paris.Unless you stay on the outskirts but then you have travelling cost so you are no better off.What we liked liked about the apartment was the feeling you were a resident of Paris if only for a short while.We lived like a local shopped in the local markets even if it was only for 5 days.The hotels are fine but you are just a tourist.
