Ingredients


Salde d oeufs

Egg salad recipe

To serve 6

6 eggs hard boiled, halved lengthwise

3 anchovies chopped

1 tablespoon of capers

2 fennel bulbs sliced or quartered

1 lettuce leaves separated

1 cooked beetroot sliced

1 handful of chevil leaves

4flozs / 10cl of vinaigrette recipe here


Place all the ingredients attractively in a large dish

Season well with vinaigrette and serve.

3 tomatoes sliced and seeded

200g / 7ozs Caesar`s mushrooms sliced

200g / 7ozs roast chicken cut into strips

100g / 3½ ozs Port salut cheese diced

2 eggs hardboiled sliced into rounds

1 lemon, juice strained

salt and pepper

3 flozs / 8cl of olive oil


Place the tomato slices, then the mushrooms, chicken and cheese and then the eggs in a bowl.

In a small bowl mix the lemon juice with salt and pepper.

Then add the oil, stirring well.

Pour this dressing over the salad and mix gently and serve.
