EtretatEtretat is a popular tourist and fishing town in Normandy. It is 3 or 4 years since our last visit to Etretat Not a lot as change which is good even the fishing boats on the beach are the same. Etretat Beach
We decided to revisit Etretat which was about 50 miles from our Gite if you used the Pont Normandie bridge.The beach is very clean and the sea is a greenish blue from washing against the cliffs.There is a nice promenade with restaurants where you can watch the sea. Stalls on the main street
People come to this seaside resort to see the famous cliffs. You can walk up the path in the photo to the top of the cliffs. We did it last time but gave it a miss this time it is a steep climb. The town has narrow streets there is a large car park almost on the beach. Which is a short walk to the town centre with it indoor market. You will find all the usual tourist shops cafes and artist galleries.Within a few streets of the centre the town has no steep inclines so it is easy to walk round. Etretat old market
