We visited Fecamp on our way to Etretat. We were staying in the small village of Le Brevedent about 50 miles away. Our first impression on entering the town was that it was a busy working town with not much to interest us in. Fecamp Harbour
However when you reach the harbour and can see the white cliffs and beach. The town looks much better you can park on the side of the harbour. Or as we did right next to the beach there is a long promenade. There was plenty of seating areas overlooking the white pebbled beach. We had a picnic there watching the sea come in.The beach is between two large white cliffs. In the photo you can just see where the sea as worn away the cliff. The harbour
