French Dressing recipe
Place oil and vinegar in a screw top jar add 3 teaspoons of mustard and 3 teaspoons of brown sugar. Put the lid on the bottle and shake. Taste and adjust brown sugar and the mustard to taste. Store in a fridge and just before using shake the bottle to mix together. Will keep for 2 or more months in the fridge. A simple to make French dressing recipe
VinaigrettaFrench dressing recipe 2 large pinches of salt black pepper 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar 3 tablespoons of oil
Put the salt in to a bowl and two twists of pepper mill stir
in the vinegar with wooden spoon. Stir until salt is dissolved
then add the oil a spoonful at a time. Beating the mixture
until cloudy when it is ready for use.
Vinaigrette a la MoutardeAfter mixing in salt and vinegar add 1 teaspoon of mild French mustard before beating in the oil.
Vinaigrette a la cremeSubstitute 3 tablespoons of double cream instead of the oil this is very good for dressing a watercress salad
