Hesdin makes a good centre for touring the area we have just spent a week there. Among the places we visited were Azincourt the battlefield and village about 10 miles. Crecy small town and another famous battle similar distance. The towns of the Somme with WW1 interest 50 miles. Cities like Lille 60 miles and seaside towns 30 miles Berck and Le Touquet. Paris is about 150 miles
