 It is worth visiting Sainte-Catherine church it is the largest wood built church in France with its separate bell tower. The dock area of the port is popular with artists from Claude Monet to the present day. The town has two main beaches Spoils and Vasouy follow the sign to Trouville. There are Guided tours around Honfleur we liked the walk round the forest of Breuil about 2 miles outside town. There is a mound which raise above the town you can see the valley of the Seine and the Bridge of Normandy which connects Honfleur to Le Havre. The photo below shows the bridge we have crossed it many times but usually in the dark. This was the first time I have seen it in daylight.
