The front door leads directly into a large country kitchen - dining room with a large functional chimney, Again, the walls are of exposed stone, the ceilings show off the original beams and the floors are tiled, all in keeping with a traditional Perigordian property.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with all modern appliances, as in Les Lauzes, and also has the extra facility of a tumble dryer in a small utility room. The bedrooms at La Bastide are located in two wings; from one side of the kitchen a door leads to the left wing, with one large double room on the ground floor, an en-suite bathroom and a separate toilet. On the first floor are two further double bedrooms, sharing one bathroom and WC. To the right of the kitchen-dining room, is the large and bright living room, with 3 leather settees gathered around another fully functional fire place, for enjoying a flamb''' on the cooler evenings out of season. There is a television area in the lounge with an additional settee, and a card table and chairs for playing games. At the far end of the living area, a door leads to one double room with it's en-suite and separate WC. An open feature staircase leads to the first floor and to the landing area, here, two more double bedrooms each enjoy an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and a WC.
