Kerdevot is a small village a few miles from Quimper where we had spent the morning.We decided to try a different route home via Elliant to our cottage at Saint Yvi. We drove into Kerdevot and straight out it is only about 100 yds from one end to the other.fortunately we saw the church and turn round and went back. The centre of the village has a grass area with picnic tables like a English village green.There are a few nice houses around the green and then this very large old chapel.We drove down to the church there is a car park right opposite where we stopped and had a coffee and just looked at this great old building.The village is surrounded by fields and trees as you can see in the photos

The chapel dates from around the 16th Century it was locked on the day we visited but you can get a key
from the town hall.I have seen photos of the inside of the chapel it is worth a visit to see the wall mounted collection box
