We were heading to the market town of Sartilly on the D973 for the weekly produce market.When we saw the sign to La Rochelle Normande. We have visited the port of La Rochelle several times. The sign said it was 2 km to the village so we had to go and see it. The village is very picturesque with well maintain houses a typical Normandy village.It was worth the detour we had a short walk round then it was back to the market La Rochelle Normande
