Langrune sur mer France Calvados Normandy

We visited Langrune sur Mer just before the D Day 65 years celebration. The town beach was part of Juno beach during WWll Normandy landing. It is now a seaside resort only the German Blockhouse overlooking the beach reminds you of the battle which took place here. The beach today is used for water sports sailing, windsurfing and the boards that you are pulled with kites.

Royal Barriere Hotel Deauville
