Le Portel Plage is a small seaside town about 2 miles from Boulogne sur Mer in the Pas de Calais region
We visit Boulogne several times a year but have never been to Le Portel Plage.So on this trip we decided to have a look it is only 10 mins form the centre of Boulogne.The town is built on the side of a cliff over looking a great beach.The beach looked very clean and safe like most of the beaches on this coast.You could park on the road looking down on to the beach and watch the tide come in.The town has a few tourist shops and cafes we enjoyed a couple of hours there.
