Le Beau Sejour, is a Lxury Rural French Farmhouse set on the edge of the beautiful village of Chambon. Renovated with taste & flair whilst retaining a traditional French feel with many original features and home comforts, it will easily accomodate 2/3 families or up to 12 people if travelling with children. Situated only 5 minutes from the nearest town of La-Roche-Posay: A popular town famous for its spa resort & healing waters, 18 hole Golf course, Casino, Riding Centre, Race Course, Aromatherapy Centre and excellent shops and resturants. At the rear of the property is a walled garden area with a large pool for sole use of the guests, along with separate seating and cooking facilites.

Four double bed rooms, 1 super king size, all individually decorated and furnished. Comfortable, airy bedrooms, with sitting space. The rear bedrooms have large patio doors providing a view to die for, across the open fields and farm land.

Bathrooms: Modern fully fitted bathroom, with a white suite, containing a separate bath & large shower cubicle with power shower.
Downstairs Toilet.

Kitchen: The kitchen comes fully equipped with a modern and French style to it, along with a breakfast bar with seating area for quick snacks and morning coffee. The cooker has electric hob and extractor fan. Toaster, kettle deep fat fryer, rotisserie available.

Utility Room: There is a fully equipped utility room with all facilities including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, washing line, iron and ironing board, large free standing fan, portable electric heaters, and separate drinks fridge.

Living Rooms: The living room has a convenient and modern fire place for atmospheric evening relaxation, with a large and comfortable bed settee, for larger parties. A TV, stereo system, DVD player and play station are provided with a variety of music, films and games.

Distances
Easily accessible for travel to large cities such as Paris via the TGV (high speed train) at Poitiers. Golf, Riding, Chateau, Wine Tasting, Local Market, Swimming all within easy access.

Further details
The house is situated in Chambon village which is located halfway between the regional capitals of Tours and Poitiers making it an ideal base to explore the Chateaux of the Loire Valley and the department of Vienne.

Tours the capital of the Loire Valley, Poitiers with is old town and Notre-Dame-la-Grande Romanesque church, the futuristic theme park of Futuroscope, Snake Island, Monkey Valley, Giants of the Sky at Chaivigny and the Henry the IV Chocolate factory at Chaterault are all within easy reach.

Many grand chateaux lie within the area, (Chateau at Le Grande Pressigny 10mins) many of which have wonderful gardens to explore. Take a walk around the legendary gardens of Villandry, Chateau d’Usse, a fairy tale castle that befits the tale of (Sleeping Beauty), Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceaux, and others within easy striking distance. Explore The Brenne, a little known area by tourists but very liked by birds (and ornithologists) because of the quietness of the landscape, the multitude of biotopes (hedgerows, moorland, woods, fields) and the presence of so many ponds and lakes. Ideal bathing here with a life guard during the summer months.

Other suggestions include: La Haute-Touche (largest zoological park in France), Zooparc Beauval, (excellent family day out), the steam train from Richelieu to Chinon, the donkey park at L'Ane, Parc Le Fou (An exceptional day out with charriot races and medieval banquets and jousting amongst others), Parc Mini-Chateaux, Les Grotttes Petrifiantes (magnificent caves) are but a few.

Rental includes all utilities, heating, bed linen, towels etc. Property is cleaned before arrival and upon departure.
A hairdryer is situated in the master bedroom.
Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board are available for use at any time.

Car parking is available at the front of the house and there is a gated front driveway for added securityof little ones. The rear of the garden is gated and has plenty of space for children to play. For alfresco dining there is the use of the modern fixed BBQ, and gazebo along with dining table and chairs. A separate bistro style table and chairs are situated on the rear terrace for quick snacks and morning coffee. The pool, has removable ladders for added safety of little ones and comes with solar heated cover, which will raise the temperature of the water by up to 8 or 10 degrees during the summer months. Games are provided for children and adult entertainment, including outdoor chess and there is a large tennis net along with rackets.

Coast/Beach
Etang de Bellebouche - Mézières-en-Brenne. One of the largest and most attractive lakes in Brenne. Known primarily for its beach and swimming, it is also a site for natural history observation. It has a hundred hectares of water with 900m of white sandy beach. There is safe bathing for young children, with water activities and also fish ponds, nature trails, play parks and a restaurant. Life Guard during the summer months.

Golf
La Roche Posay 4km east of Chambon located in the centre of this spa resort is the Golf du Connetable which offers a mature course with fairly narrow tree lined fairways and exceptional greens.
Golf Loches – Verneuil. Only ten minutes away from the town of Loches is a nine-hole golf course. This simple, thoughtfully-designed facility is accessible to players of all levels. It offers high-quality lessons and courses all year round, incorporating the latest teaching aids, and under the supervision of a state-qualified instructor.
Golf is also available in other nearby towns such as Poitiers & .
Châtellerault.
Golf clubs available for use on request (2 sets of adult clubs and 1 set suitable for children aged 9 years and older clubs, with trolleys).
