The seaside resort of Menton FrancePlaces to visit in MentonMenton is in the Côte d'Azur region of France a mile from the Italian border. On the Mediterranean coast with the Ligurian Alps at the back of the town. It gives the town a warm climate most of the year and shelters it form the cold Mistral winds you get on this coast. The area used to earn most of its income from the lemon, tangerine and orange groves. Now most of its income is from tourist.

Every year in February the "Lemon Festival" is held in the town. They build statues covered with lemons and oranges some are driven round the street on trucks. The Casino Gardens are also used for the displays as you can see in the photo.
