Nice is only nine miles away, and Italy is about five miles.

Monaco is made up of several hills and a peninsula that juts out into the Mediterranean.

It is less than one square mile, but has some of the most expensive property in the world. The largest yachts in the world can be seen in the harbour.

Monaco is a tax haven the government gets its money from tourism and commercial transactions.

Its as a mild climate which makes it a good all year round place to holiday.

There are several five star restaurants and the usual designer shops it depends on your budget The Oceanographic Museum is well worth a visit.
