Monaco and Monte CarloOur visit to the resort of Monte Carlo in Monaco
Monaco isn’t part of France, but is located in the middle of the Cote d’Azur. Nice is only nine miles away, and Italy is about five miles. Monaco is made up of several hills and a peninsula that juts out into the Mediterranean. It is less than one square mile, but has some of the most expensive property in the world. The largest yachts in the world can be seen in the harbour.

Its as a mild climate which makes it a good all year round place to holiday. The area has nice beaches with good sports facilities. Monaco is famous for the formula 1 Grand Prix race, as well as the Monte Carlo Rally.

There are several five star restaurants and the usual designer shops it depends on your budget The Oceanographic Museum is well worth a visit. The most popular casino and night spot is the Place du Casino, around which most of the social life revolves. The short video shows the casino.
