France is one of those spectacular nations in the world. There are many places to visit and one such place is Mont St. Michel, situated in Normandy, France. There are numerous sites to visit here and enjoy. The beauty of the real world lies here. Take a look


Le Mont St. Michel Town in Normandy is one of the finest holiday sites in the world. It is a wonderful historical site and is a treat to visit and enjoy. It is one of those wonderful towns which is the home to about three million tourists from various parts of the globe, thanks to its wide range of atractions. Also it is the best for all those who are looking for photographs of historic monuments and other masterpieces of art as well. Let me narrate the sites that I visited in this beautiful and historic place.

The Abbey:

It is another very beautiful masterpiece of the historic times, that still stands today as one of the best. It is said that this monument was constructed between the 11th and 16th centuries during the medieval times. The exciting fact about this church is that it is closed on few specific days like January 1, May 1 and December 25. Normally these are the important days and it is quiet interesting to know that this place is shut for the following days. On other days, there are some restrictions within this place and pets are not allowed. Also regular masses take place here in Abbey and it is a very well known feature of this place. Also these masses do not take place on Sundays and on Mondays. Normally here the entrance fee is very less and hence many can enjoy this place.

The Parish Church:

This masterpiece is again the culmination of art available in the 15th and the 16th centuries and is a true beauty that I witnessed. Normally this is a very quiet place to be in the city, yet it is one of the best in terms of scenery. Also it is regarded as one of the best places to be in the city of Normandy. I enjoyed it like all other tourists did, who visited this place.

Museums:

If you are a keen follower of historical events around the world, then you should not miss these museums as they are considered as one of the best. The Maritime museum is very tourist friendly that they offer cheap entry rates especially during the peak holiday seasons. Also they host a show about this beautiful town evolved and is a must watch for all the tourists. Besides the town also hosts other museums like Archeoscope, Museum of History, and Tiphaine’s House.
