Our visit to Paris to see as much as possible in a short timeLocal Attractions in Paris The Eiffle Tower
The most recognisable symbol of Paris is the 324 metre (1,063 ft) Eiffel tower on the banks of the Seine. You can go to the top in the lift, big queues at peak times. The view of Paris is well worth the wait . The view from the observation platform, especially at dusk, more than exceeds any expectations. All of Paris shines below as the city is illuminated by both the onset of electric lights and the fading sun.
The Métro was opened on 19 July 1900 The system has 199 km (124 miles) of
track It is one of the best ways to get around Paris.
Bread Shop
A street in Paris
Paris has one of the best antique markets in Europe just on the outskirts at Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Address: 48, rue Jules Vallès (Marché des Antiquaires), 93400 Saint-Ouen (between the Porte de St-Ouen and Porte de Clignancourt, just outside 18th arrondissement) This is on every weekend and attracts large crowds. It is the largest market I have been to the area is full of stalls and shops selling antiques and bric-a-brac.
The Moulin Rouge
Built originally as a windmill, this world-famous cabaret was transformed into a dance hall in 1889. If you fancy a Vegas-style night out with dinner
there are plenty of inclusive packages you can book.
Hotel Le Littre Paris
It offers luxury accommodation with panoramic views close to boutiques and antique shops, 2.5 kilometres from the Louvre and Notre Dame. The 90 guestrooms, with traditional French
decor and antique-style furnishings, feature
cable television and Internet access.
Sacré Coeur
Montmartre is a historic area on the Butte, home to the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur. Montmartre has always had a history with artist and has many studios and cafés The white domes of the Sacred Heart basilica patrol the Paris skyline from the top of Montmartre. It was built in 1873 climb to the top of the dome for the view of Paris. On clear days you can also catch grand vistas of the city from the entrance terrace and steps Try to visit at sunrise or long after sunset, as otherwise this area is crammed with bus groups
I found one of the best ways to see the Louvre
and the other museums. Is in a small group with an

We visit Paris every couple of years and stay in a hotel as near to the centre as we can afford. So this year we decided to have a change and stay in an apartment. The cost is about the same there is no cheap accommodation in Paris.Unless you stay on the outskirts but then you have travelling cost so you are no better off. What we liked liked about the apartment was the feeling you were a resident of Paris if only for a short while. We lived like a local shopped in the local markets even if it was only for 5 days. The hotels are fine but you are just a tourist.
