The city centre Amiens  The city of Amiens in the Somme region of France. The 4 pictures show the town centre do not be fooled by the lack of people it is a very busy city Unlike the Uk and USA every thing stops at lunch time. At 12 noon to 2 pm even the large stores and supermarkets shut. Just outside of Amiens you will find the surrounding area is full of woods and valleys. There is also a Chateau and several Abbeys to visit.   The main shopping area  The beach at Stella Plage  The beach at Stella Plage is one of the best in France. The beach runs from Berck-sur-Mer through Stella Plage and on to Le Touquet. The Cote d`Opale area offers a wide range of water sports and beach activities.
