Port-en-Bessin-Huppain Normandy is just down the Normandy coast from our last stop at Arromanches.
This was the last coastal town we visited on this trip. Will come back later in the year to see the rest of coast
The Port area to the town
We made a short visit to Port-en-Bessin-Huppain in June. We had to cut short our visit to the town when we got a phone call to say the shower was leaking in our Gite. So we had to leave quickly to turn the water off.We saw enough in the 30 mins we were in the town to want to come back again. The harbour area was very busy there was a mixture of fishing boats and pleasure boats.The port was used to film the 1960s film the longest day. The port is part of Omaha beach I noticed a sign for a WWll museum. A local Creperie near the harbour
