How to make a spicy tomato sauce


Ingredients


Spicy tomato sauce recipe

to make 1/2 a pint

3 lge tomatoes skinned seeded and chopped

2 garlic cloves unpeeled lightly crushed

4 or 5 coriander seeds lightly crushed

2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley

1 tablespoon cut chives

1 tablespoon chopped chervil

1 tablespoon chopped tarragon

4 tablespoons of olive oil


Put all the ingredients into a saucepan.

Stand the saucepan in a large pan.

Fill with warm water to reach just above the contents of the saucepan.

Put on a low heat and warm the sauce.

Stirring occasionally for a least 30 mins or until the flavours are well mingled.

Do not let it boil remove the garlic cloves before serving
