One kilometre from the picturesque village of Nanteuil en Vallee, is the pretty little commune of Chez Taupignon.. The property is in this hamlet. It is a detached 20-year-old house, which is completely renovated and decorated. It stands in a lovely extensive landscaped garden of over 4000 sq/metres; mostly grassed over and containing many vines, fruit trees, bushes, flowers & shrubs.



In front of the house is a covered patio, furnished with an oak picnic table, and a barbecue area, which gets plenty of use during the summer months. The house itself has a large comfortable sunny living and dining room with French doors leading to the secluded secure side garden.



The bungalow has three bedrooms, a bathroom with a large bath; also a walk-in shower cabinet. There is also an en-suite toilet with basin & shower cabinet. The fitted kitchen with dishwasher has a door leading to a utility room which houses a deep-freeze cabinet; clothes washing machine, and dryer. A further door connects to the large garage, which has ample room for a car; the grass-mowing tractor and the workshop. Above the garage is loft, which provides copious storage. The gravelled driveway outside provides unlimited parking.



There is electric heating in all rooms; and in the lounge there is a glass fronted log-burning fire. All the windows are double-glazed and are fitted with electric metal or wooden shutters. There is a workstation area for the computer with ADSL facility and the Television is able to access six French TV stations and all British and Sky channels, using a satellite dish and receiver.



If it has always been your dream to build your own new house in France, the present owners have obtained a Certificate of Urbanisation, (which is transferable) giving planning permission to build another house, to your own specifications in the lower half of the grounds. (Building would cost approx. Euros 80,000)
