Villedieu les Poeles market Normandy is a large market held on Tuesday morning. There is also a smaller one on Friday morning which is mainly fresh local produce Market stalls in the centre of Villedieu les Poeles
The market is spread round the main square several streets and some of the car park.It is one of the largest markets in this area.As well as local produce there was a good range of goods clothes, jewellery hand made baskets. There were a few small stalls no more than a card table. People had brought things from their garden one lady had 5 duck eggs a couple of bunches of carrots straight from the ground and about twelve potatoes. Another stall had two carrier bags of walnuts straight from the tree we got those for 5 euros The main square
