Lovely country cottage with two traditional gites set in a mature garden near 12 lovely beaches


The main house, L'Ancrage, comprises of a large modern kitchen which has been beautifully fitted out, facing south, with two large windows beautifully tiled floor. The bathroom and shower room and modern separate toilet are all downstairs - all with tiled floors.

The large lounge /dinning room has three windows on three sides and is of typical Breton character with lovely pinewood floor , beams and stone fireplace with a wood burning stove. French doors connect the kitchen. From the kitchen there are French south facing patio with stone and brick barbeque and a small pond with small waterfall


Leading from the lounge is a gorgeous pine spiral stairs leading to a small landing with two bedrooms off.
Both bedrooms have pine floors and ceilings with beams and windows facing south.

The property decoration is all to a high standard. From the kitchen there are French doors to a south facing patio with stone and brick barbeque and a small pond with small waterfall.
The drive leads down to the two gites – Pebbles and Driftwood.

There is plenty of parking on the drive for up to six cars. Opposite the patio is a traditional carport / wood store constructed of solid beams and a beautiful red tiled roof

Outside there is a large beautiful garden with mature trees, large pond ,rockeries and lawns.
At the end of the drive is a large garage which can take a camping car with a large workshop. Over the top both of them there I as large floored area.

DRIFTWOOD has been tastefully renovated recently. We have designed it with a spacious living room upstairs. that takes advantage of the beautiful country views and garden. There are French Doors which open on to a large balcony. The modern kitchen area has a dishwasher, full size cooker, microwave, fridge, and plenty of worktops and cupboards. There is a dining table which seats 6 in comfort.

The lounge area has a comfortable suite, coffee table and a music centre for your pleasure. On the south-facing balcony there is a large table with parasol and six chairs for meals in the sun. Downstairs there are three bedrooms - one double bedded room with a twin bedded room adjoining and a separate twin bedded room. Also there is a super pine bathroom with toilet, basin and shower.

The living room is designed on the Breton style with the use of natural wood on the ceiling and floor and many of the fitments. The whole cottage has been tastefully furnished. There is plenty of parking.

PEBBLES, is a smaller cosy gite. It has been beautifully redesigned with dormer windows and a new staircase. The staircase leads to a twin-bedded room with connecting double bedroom.

It is ideal for a family of three or four.
Downstairs there is a typical French living room/kitchen with a tiled floor, small cooker, microwave and fridge, also a music centre .There is an attractive tiled bathroom with toilet, shower and hand-basin. Outside there is a small patio with furniture and small barbecue which faces the sun in the evening.

L'Ancrage is situated at the end of a small country lane. There are about seven houses in our sleepily hamlet of Kergalet. Driftwood and Pebbles are situated in our ground which covers nearly an acre. There is a peaceful relaxing garden with lawns flower beds, pond ,large barbeque and garden furniture.

Kergalet is just about in the centre of the Presqu'il De Crozon so there are over a dozen beautiful sandy beaches within 5 miles The nearest village with bakers bars and shops plus a sandy beach is Lanveoc about 1.5 miles. Our main town is Crozon with supermarkets (2 miles) and shops cafes, bars and restaurants. Slightly farther a field is splendid Morgat and enchanting Camaret ( 6miles) with their numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. Camaret is also famous for its artist's quarter and fort and church on the breakwater.

The Crozon Peninsula is part of the Parc Naturel regional D'Armorique. It stretches from the picturesque Arree Mountains in the east to the wonderful beaches and coastal scenery of the 'Presqu'ile de Crozon to the west. The whole magnificent National Park is in the' Department of Finistere which in turn is part of the area of Brittany.

Presqu'ile de Crozon has in general been undiscovered by tourists as they tend to by-pass it on their way south. The French come in summer but it never gets that busy. The Presqu'ile extents about 30 kms by 10 kms. and in that area the scenery changes from towering cliffs at Point Espangnois with its bracing walks to long beautiful sandy beaches which stretch for miles (there are in fact over 12 sandy beaches to choose from and none of them get very busy). There are numerous delightful walks in forests & moors and we have 145kms. of coastal footpath around the Presqu'ile to explore.
