Secure residential leisure park in Favieres, Baie de Somme 4kms from coast and 1 hour from Eurotunnel in Calais. Open all year round. The chalet was built in 2007 and is in very good condition and well maintained.

It has lounge/kitchen/diner opening on to the covered terrace with double doors, has a single and double bedroom, leather sofa bed for guests in lounge area (so sleeps 5 in total), shower room and separate cloakroom, garden with shed. The chalet is fully furnished and equipped and you can bring your pet with you.

The park does not close during the winter so you can stay whenever you want (though facilities are pared back). There's also an indoor and outdoor pool, a popular fishing lake on site, a large bar with terrace, children's play area (see park website for more details).

If you want you can rent your chalet out - the park can take care of this for you and ensure the chalet is well looked after. We have rented our chalet out for a couple of months a year which brings in about 2.5k - the full park fees are 3.4k and cover all amenities, keeping each chalet’s grass and hedges in order, common areas neat and includes all water usage.

We have satellite TV, a new water boiler and installed plumbing and extra electrics for washing machine and dryer in shed to make life easier. Le Crotoy is a small fishing village on one side of the Baie about 4kms from Favieres and there you will find hotels, restaurants, market and south facing sandy beach. St Valery sur Somme 10kms away is a medieval town with ramparts, views across the Baie on the other side of the Somme. Both offer plenty of outdoor activities such as cycling on dedicated paths, nature and bird reserves, boat trips from St Valery to visit the seal colony, also popular steam train runs between Le Crotoy, St Valery and Cayeaux along the coast passed the salt marshes.

Bagatelle theme park for children is 30 minutes away. Eating out is easy - as is self catering – there are plenty of local facilities for both.I’m in France until September.
