A taste of France property section

Barret de Lioure

by Gaelle Parguez
(Barret de Lioure)

In the heart of Provence, in the country of lavender, surrounded by mountains, enjoy finishing this house according to your own ideas and taste.

It is located between the villages of Montbrun-les-Bains (all amenities, 3.5km away) and Barret-de-Lioure, in a residential hamlet, on 1900 m2 of land, in medium-altitude mountains (the house is around 700m high).

Great volumes, huge potential, exceptional view on the surrounding mountains (including Mont Ventoux).
Southern exposure

The house is organized on three floors:
on the ground floor: a huge garage/workshop (nearly 100m2, ceiling 3m60 high) and cellars

On the first floor: one bedroom and a spacious living room (70 m2, sloping ceiling) with 2 terraces. The kitchen can also be planned on this floor.

On the last floor: a bedroom and a bathroom are planned here, a third bedroom and a mezzanine can be built over the living room.

Already done: walls and roof, doors (including garage door) and windows on the ground floor. Part of the garage has been converted into a very basic apartment in order to be able stay in the house while carrying on the construction.

Electricity, water, phone lines already arrive at the house. An individual water treatment system (septic tank) is built and working.

Around 80,000 euros are estimated to be necessary to finish the house.

The adjacent land (belonging to the municipality, and slightly bigger) can also be bought in order to increase the land surface area, if wanted.

Other pictures (interior/exterior) and plans are available on request.

For sale 170,000 euros
