Update another year as gone by and we are back at the centre on the 20th December 2015.
Update this years display was very good the centre was busy when we visited on the 16th December 2013.Our favourite coffee shop as gone and been replaced with a large cafe bar.
Photos of our trip to the Cite of Europe shopping centre which is just a few miles from Calais.We visit the centre a couple of times a year but we always go in December to stock up for Christmas

If you have more time it is worth travelling 10 miles outside Calais to the Auchan supermarket.Which is just before you get to Boulogne on the A16 motorway.Leave the motorway at exit 31 for St Omer follow the sign for Centre Commercial.The code for your Sat Nav is 62200
It the largest supermarket I have been in the prices are cheaper than the supermarkets in Calais.
Another December and we are back at the Cite Europe shopping centre.The photo below shows the 2010 christmas display not a lot as changed in the year apart from Tesco pulling out of the centre.The centre was not over busy there seemed to be more people from the Uk than French when we visited.
