Close to the Pyrenees Mountains and Spain. Orthez is on the A64 autoroute, 70 km from the Atlantic, 60 km from Biarritz Airport, and 45 km from Pau Airport.

The backyard has a row of outbuildings, one of which has a fireplace (with wood stove insert) and could be converted to a small house (it has sewer and water). There is also a sauna (electric), potting shed (with sink), workshop and storage areas.
