The Bayeux Tapestry is one of the most iconic artifacts in all of Normandy. It is the world's largest and most complete embroidered cloth, and tells the story of the Battle of Hastings, where William the Conqueror and his army defeated the English under the leadership of King Harold Godwinson in 1066.
The Bayeux Cathedral
One of the most popular tourist destinations in Normandy. It is one of the most important historical landmarks in the area and is definitely worth a visit. The cathedral also contains some of the oldest stained glass in the world.

6. La Boulangerie This bakery is a must-visit for anyone in the area. They have a wide variety of breads, pastries, and cakes. 7. Le Pain Quotidien This is a great place to buy breakfast items. They have a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and breakfast items.
8. Les Vieux Chïnes This is a great place to get a hearty meal. They serve up traditional French dishes, as well as some international dishes. 9. La Taverne du Quai This is a great spot for lunch. They have a wide variety of food items, including salads, sandwiches, and entrees. 10. Brasserie Lichouage This is a great place to get a drink. They have a wide variety of beers, wines, and cocktails.
