It takes about two and a half hours from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. The road is well-signposted, making the trip there straightforward.

As for events, the Bridge over the River Kwai Week is something you shouldn't miss. This spans from late November to early December, featuring cultural events and light and sound shows that bring the history of the bridge to life

The night market is particularly vibrant, offering a taste of local Thai life. When it comes to food, Kanchanaburi won't disappoint. For a unique dining experience, some restaurants offer picturesque views of the river and the bridge. Dining here at sunset provides an ambient backdrop that enhances your foodie experience.
