Fermanville
Fermanville is a commune just a 20 mins drive along the coast from Cherbourg. It is about 10 miles in the other direction to the fishing port of Barfleur.
The area around Fermanville is very picturesque with several attractive little villages to walk round.The Lighthouse at Cap Levi a short distance away is worth a look.You can also visit the Phare de Gatteville lighthouse a shorth drive away in the direction of Barfleur. You can see from a distance it is 247 feet tall one of the largest lighthouse in the world.
