The town centre of Fouesnant
Fouesnant is a nice modern town about 3 miles from the old mill house. We had rented for a couple of weeks.The town is ideal if you like sandy beaches and small fishing ports.Some of the best beaches in Brittany are only a few miles from the town.
The town has a good mix of shops cafes and restaurants. A guide to places to eat out in the town.There is a good market on Friday morning in the main square. On the edge of town is a large supermarket.Like most French towns there is plenty of free parking

1. Les Îles Glénan: These stunning islands are just a short boat ride away from Fouesnant. Visit the tiny islands for a day of snorkeling, sunbathing, and exploring the beautiful scenery.
