Langrune sur mer Normandy we visited the town on our journey down the Normandy coast.The town is a few miles along the coast from Luc sur mer and Lion sur mer sword beach
Sign to the town
We visited Langrune sur Mer just before the D Day 65 years celebration. The town beach was part of Juno beach during WWll Normandy landing. It is now a seaside resort only the German Blockhouse overlooking the beach reminds you of the battle which took place here. The beach today is used for water sports sailing, windsurfing and the boards that you are pulled with kites.

Langrune sur Mer like most towns on the Normandy coast have beach huts.
Royal Barriere Hotel Deauville
Built in 1913, this grand hotel adjoins the palatial Deauville casino and is within a half-kilometer of the beach, Planches board walk, and designer shopping.
