The famous Windmill The windmill in the photo is one of the best preserved. It is just outside Boeschepe about a mile from the Belgium border. The windmill is on a small hill There is a car park with picnic tables. You can follow several different trails for walking and jogging. The windmill is open to the public.

 A short drive from the village is Mont des Cat. There is a trappist monastery there.
