What attracted us was its location 3 miles from the old town of Marquise with it full range of shops and petrol station.

Five miles to the beach and the seaside town of Wimereux. Twenty miles from the ferry at Calais and 15 miles from Boulogne.

We stayed in the Gite in the photo it was very comfortable.

You reached it down a private road there was parking for several cars.

The garden was about 2 acres backing on to a small forest. There were some small deer which came into the garden first thing in the morning.

What we liked best is you were completely isolated. If you wanted to be but 10 mins in the car in any direction you could be in a town or village.A local Map of the area

Update

the gite in the photos as been our home from home for the last few years.We have stayed there to do our Xmas shopping and as a base to visit the coastal towns in the area.It as now been sold so we will have find another gite to rent.
