Great view from the cliffs In photo you can see some of the great views from the cliff down the beach. There is a public walk you can take along the cliffs. You can park your car close to the edge and then take the path up to the top. Walkers climbing the Cap  If you have plenty of energy you can walk the 1/2 mile to the top. Like the people in the third photo but it is a steep climb. If not you can drive to the top to the other car park just 50 yards from the top. The view is well worth the trip.
 We have stayed at several Gites along this coast and have found plenty of interesting places to visit This cottage is a few miles from Ambleteuse in the village of Les Coquelicots not far from Calais
On the edge of the village with fine country views and walks from the door. 46 kms from Calais, 12 kms from the very popular resort of Hardelot Plage and 17 kms from Wimereux. Tennis 2 kms, horse-riding 4 kms, shops 5 kms, swimming pool and sailing 12 kms. This short video shows the road between the two Caps.
