Mortain Manche Normandy is a town right in the middle of Normandy Maine National park.We drove to the town from Avranches about 20 miles away The main street into Mortain
Mortain is built on the top of a rocky hillside with greats views.We came to the town to see the waterfalls there are two main one that flow down the side of the valley.You can park on the large car park in the middle of the town and walk down a wooded track to see the smaller waterfall.The large waterfall is just out of town you can park nearby. The town has a weekly market and a good selection of shops and cafes to walk round. An old Chateau next to the car park
